April O’Neil is on fire, and CatDog are the new characters for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl’s roster.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Adds More Characters

April O’Neil | TMNTPedia | Fandom

April O’Neil | TMNT Wiki | Fandom

April O’Neil is a young human woman who has appeared in almost every version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. April is usually the Ninja Turtles‘ first human ally in most incarnations, and is generally portrayed as a news reporter and a very good friend of the Ninja Turtles: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, often acting like a big sister or surrogate mother to them. April’s love interest in the franchise is often at Casey Jones, who is also a close friend and human ally of the Turtles.

CatDog | Nickelodeon | Fandom

CatDog | CatDog Wiki | Fandom

Cat

Cat is the smarter, more clever and more cunning of the two. He often devises plans to trick Dog into getting what he wants, such as making Dog smarter in an attempt to have more in common with him, or having him win a dog sledding contest by training him in a very hard and militaristic manner, and usually, as a result of his greediness and selfishness, these schemes all blow up in his face. He is the “underdog” of the two. Life has been hard for the both of them, as they have been shunned by society due to their awkward appearance, but Cat always seems to get the short end of the stick in the situations, especially faced with the Greaser Dogs. With his brains and constant ridiculing from the rest of the characters, he’s the more defensive and short tempered of the two. Despite his quirks and spats with Dog, he loves his brother with his whole heart. He cares so deeply that he ends up helping Dog in the end once his guilty conscience gets to him. Cat has a “Crush” on Shriek. In one episode Cat admits his love for Shriek and kisses her after Shriek kisses Dog and tells him she loves him.

Cat desires fame and fortune, and tends to go to excessive lengths in order to gain them. He is intelligent and enjoys reading, gardening, and listening to classical music. Cat is somewhat uptight and believes strongly in being polite and neat. He is a stickler for cleanliness and, like most cats, is aquaphobic. He is also obsessed with jet skis, once stating that he would sell his soul for one. Cat is 26 years old. Cat’s catchphrase is “Terrific,” said in a negative tone, as he usually says it when something bad happens.

Dog

Dog is the more happy-go-lucky and more naïve of the two. He is also the source of clumsiness. He is extremely ambitious when Cat or any other character convinces him to take on a task, diving right into it with full force and energy. Dog is the typical loyal “dumb dog” and is easily convinced. He will believe everything he is told. His attention span is very short and he is easily distracted by balls, garbage trucks, bones, food, and his overactive imagination. Because of his more simple nature, Dog usually is the one who gets the pair into trouble. Not paying attention to Cat’s warnings, his actions almost always end up with some severe consequences. Despite this, in many of the episodes, it is shown that Dog is usually the one that is more popular and athletic of the two, such as the episode when Cat and Dog both went back to school to complete Cat’s last day of High School. Like Cat, Dog adores his brother and looks up to him no matter how many times Cat steers him into danger. Dog is the typical animal. He is often distracted with chasing shadows and chasing after tennis balls, and loves eating garbage. Much to Cat’s dismay, he leaves a mess everywhere he goes. According to the series finale, Dog remembers what their parents were like.

Dog’s catchphrase is “Hi ho diggety!”, which he usually says when he is excited about something.

#Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker has a new DLC, it’s Nagato (Edo Tensei form) now with a trailer

He’s the 25th DLC.. probably with this skin, to be confirmed. I was right.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker Game Adds Nagato as 25th DLC Character – News – Anime News Network

Kuchiyose: Edo Tensei | Naruciak Wiki | Fandom

Nagato | Narutopedia | Fandom

The Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation is a technique where, using a living person as a vessel, a deceased person’s soul can be called back to the world of the living and bound to it. The vessel will then take on the form that person had in life, thereby reincarnating them to do their summoner’s bidding.

Nagato was a shinobi of Amegakure and descendant of the Uzumaki clan. Forming Akatsuki alongside his friends (and fellow war orphans) Yahiko and Konan, Nagato dreamed of bringing peace to the violent shinobi world. However, following Yahiko’s death, Nagato adopted the alias of Pain and, along with Konan, began leading a new Akatsuki — one that would force the world into peace using any means necessary.

The character will arrive in the game “soon,” and will be the second character in the game’s fourth season pass. The season pass will have a total of five new characters and will focus on the theme of “regeneration.” The first new character in the fourth season pass is Sakura Haruno from the Great Ninja War.

The game’s third season pass includes: Kakashi Hatake (with both eyes Sharingan), Neji Hyūga, Shisui Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki (Last Battle), and Boruto Uzumaki (Karma Form).

The game’s second season pass includes: Zabuza Momochi, Haku, Ohnoki, Killer Bee, Sasuke Uchiha (from Boruto), Ino Yamanaka, Might Guy, Mei Terumi, and Naruto Uzumaki (as the Seventh Hokage in the Boruto anime and manga).

The game’s first season pass includes nine DLC packs and the “Great Sages of the Mount Myouboku” accessory. Playble DLC characters include Jiraiya, Sarutobi, Orochimaru, the fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze, the second Hokage Tobirama Senju, the first Hokage Hashirama Senju, Tsunade, Obito Uchiha, and Madara Uchiha.

Where are the damn voices in the new upcoming #nickelodeonallstarbrawl ? oh and it has rollback netcode.

Nickelodeon is Making A Super Smash Bros.-Style Game With SpongeBob, Rugrats, TMNT, and More

Here are all the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl characters confirmed so far:

  • Danny Phantom
  • Helga (Hey Arnold!)
  • Leonardo (TMNT)
  • Lincoln Loud (The Loud House)
  • Lucy Loud (The Loud House)
  • Michelangelo (TMNT)
  • Nigel Thornberry (The Wild Thornberrys)
  • Oblina (Aaahh!!! Real Monsters)
  • Patrick Star (SpongeBob SquarePants)
  • Powdered Toast Man (Ren and Stimpy)
  • Reptar (Rugrats)
  • Sandy Cheeks (SpongeBob SquarePants)
  • SpongeBob SquarePants
  • Zim (Invader Zim)

According to IGN’s report, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will have 20 stages, with Jellyfish Fields from SpongeBob SquarePants and the Technodrome from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles named specifically. It seems fans will have to wait until we’re a little closer to launch before they will be able to find out more stages in an official capacity, but based on what’s shown in the trailer, it seems likely that there will be stages based on most of the characters on the roster.

Nick Fighting Game Looks Like Smash Bros. But With SpongeBob

Despite some unsettling character designs, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl looks and sounds like it’ll be legit. For one, the developers sport some serious fighting game cred. (Ludosity is the team behind Slap City, a well-regarded Smash clone.) For another, in the Ludosity Discord server, the devs said All-Star Brawl will feature rollback netcode “on supported platforms.”

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Rollback Netcode Explained – What is it, How is it Better Than Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl – All Characters Revealed So Far

What is rollback netcode?

There are two types of netcode, rollback netcode and delayed netcode. For starters, netcode is basically the connection between the two systems via the servers. Most connection and lag issues occur due to a problem on the game’s netcode.

When it comes to rollback netcode, it is considered as the best feature for fighting games. The reason for that is that with rollback netcode, the game predicts what the player is going to do, instead of waiting on for their input. If by any chance the prediction is wrong, it rolls back to the correct input. This ensures that the overall experience is more responsive, and less laggy.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Has Big Feature That Major Fighting Game Franchises Still Lack

While there are several fighting games that have this netcode implemented, such as the upcoming King of Fighters 15 and Guilty Gear Strive, many wish for this to be the norm for fighting games. So much so that its omission is usually met with criticism and complaints from players who see a delay-based netcode as the inferior option.

Ironically enough, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the very game Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl is trying to emulate, was once considered to implement rollback netcode. In the end, this never happened and despite Ultimate being a widely beloved title for its gameplay and the amount of content it offers, its online play is considered to be its weakest element. The fact that the Nickelodeon game will feature rollback netcode is already resulting in comments about how it will offer better online play than one of Nintendo’s biggest first-party offerings.

Kazuya gameplay, release date, Mii fighter DLC, for #smashbrosultimate

Tekken’s Kazuya Mishima release date will be June 29, 2021.

His new stage is the Mishima Dojo (which belongs to Heihachi), which has closed ceilings and walls that can be broken with strong attacks. Once everything is broken, it’s less safe, Sakurai says. The walls will rebuild themselves over time though, and Heihachi is present in the background and will react to KOs (similar to the King of Fighters arena). Oh, and there’s an Easter egg on the ground! Hilariously, Sakurai demonstrated Kazuya in a gauntlet featuring all of the fighters the character threw off the ledge in the cinematic intro.

Kazuya Mishima

On June 29, the vengeful Kazuya Mishima from the Tekken fighting game series joins the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game for the Nintendo Switch system as part of the “Challenger Pack 10” downloadable content, which also includes a new stage and a selection of music tracks from the decades-spanning Tekken franchise. In a video hosted by Masahiro Sakurai, the Super Smash Bros. series director provided a deep dive into the new fighter’s move set, as well as a detailed look at the new Mishima Dojo stage.

Challenger Pack 10 is part of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate “Fighters Pass Vol. 2,” which can be purchased for $29.99 and also includes Min Min from the ARMS game, Steve & Alex from Minecraft, Sephiroth from the Finl Fantasy series, Pyra / Mythra from the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 game, and one yet-to-be-announced fighter that will release later this year. “Challenger Pack 10” can also be purchased separately for $5.99.

Debuting more than 25 years ago in the original Tekken game, Kazuya Mishima is one of the most recognizable faces in the storied fighting game series. Kazuya moves from the arenas of Tekken, where players must understand the space between characters and focus on where to hit their opponents in a 3D plane, to the battlefields of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where players must attack their foes through 2D heights and distances. Because of this change in gameplay dimensions, Kazuya shows off a special skill set in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate when compared to his Tekken roots.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Kazuya’s main attacks are similar to his fighting moves in Tekken, but to give him the midair jumps, smash attacks and special moves that the Super Smash Bros. series is known for, his Devil’s Power is put to use. In later games in the Tekken series, Kazuya can transform into a powerful winged demon. Players will notice Kazuya activating this Devil’s Power for various jumps, smash attacks and special moves in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

The new stage that players will receive in “Challenger Pack 10,” “Mishima Dojo,” is the dojo of the Mishima family—specifically Kazuya’s father Heihachi. The dojo is closed off in all directions, but its walls and ceiling can be broken with strong attacks, turning the stage into dangerous terrain. With no floating platforms, the Mishima Dojo stage is more grounded than many other stages in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, requiring new strategies when battling on it.

After downloading “Challenger Pack 10,” players will also receive 39 music tracks from the Tekken series, containing a mix of songs from earlier and more recent games in the franchise.

New Mii Fighter Costumes

Additionally, launching alongside Kazuya Mishima are new paid Mii Fighter costumes, including Shantae (Shantae), Lloyd Irving (Tales of Symphonia), Dante (Devil May Cry), and Dragonborn (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim).

During today’s Kazuya Mishima DLC stream for Smash Ultimate, Sakurai had to sneak in DLC outfit confirmation, too. Mii Fighter costumes are back, and will include crossovers with Tales of Symphonia, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Devil May Cry, and Shantae.

In respective order, the costumes will represent Lloyd (swordfighter), the Dragonborn (swordfighter), Dante (swordfighter), and Shantae (brawler). Sakurai says they named the character Dragonborn “because it’s the English translation of Dovahkiin, which is “dragon child” in the dragon language of the original game.” As for Shantae, she’ll come with one song in the “other” section of the soundtrack: Burning Town, from Half-Genie Hero (the first stage).

Min Min amiibo For those looking to arm themselves with even more Super Smash Bros. fun, a new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo is on its way! Min Min, the fighting noodle girl from ARMS, will be available for purchase at select retailers in 2022.

While the June 28, 2021 Super Smash Bros Ultimate presentation offered details about Kazuya, it also hinted at the future. Namely, it offered a few details about the last SSBU DLC character. Challenger Pack 11 will be announced in 2021 and it will mark the end. Director Masahiro Sakurai also commented on the longevity of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS leading into SSBU.

Kazuya from #tekken in #smashbrosultimate

Kazuya Mishima | Tekken Wiki | Fandom

Kazuya Mishima is one of the main characters in the Tekken series. He appears in all Tekken games except Tekken 3, in which he only made two cameo appearances. Although he is seen as the main protagonist and hero of the first Tekken game, Kazuya became one of the major antagonists of the series ever since Tekken 2. Most importantly, Kazuya is the son of Heihachi Mishima and Kazumi Mishima, the possible love interest of Jun Kazama and the father of Jin Kazama. He’s also the half-brother of Lars Alexandersson, the adoptive brother of Lee Chaolan, and the grandson of Jinpachi Mishima.

At five years of age, Kazuya finds out his mother died at the hands of his father and attempts to get revenge against him. However, Kazuya is defeated almost immediately and gets thrown off a cliff by his father, who claims that his son is weak and would have to survive and climb back up if he was to be his true son as well as his successor. Kazuya barely survives the fall, but is able to climb back up the cliff due to his Devil Gene activating and causing his devil powers to awaken. In the non-canon Tekken: The Motion Picture, this was explained as Kazuya, on the brink of death, making a deal with with the Devil in order to survive to solely murder his father. In the NTSC-U/C (North American) manual of Tekken 2, it was also said that “there is a rumor that Kazuya has made a deal with the Devil,” but in canon sources this has never been directly said to have happened. It seems that as the series has progressed, the canon explanation for his devil powers has instead become that his near-death experience simply caused his latent powers granted to him by the Devil Gene to activate. It is revealed that Kazuya was born with devil’s power through his mother.

After climbing back up the cliff, Kazuya was raised by Heihachi. This is evidenced by Kazuya’s profile in the first Tekken, which states that, since his father is a rich businessman, he doesn’t need to worry about money, which seems to suggest that Kazuya remained a part of Heihachi’s household. It is also stated that Kazuya and his adoptive brother Lee Chaolan were raised from childhood as rivals, and that Heihachi adopted Lee because he was a skilled scrapper living on his own in the street, meaning Lee would have to be older than 4 years old when he was adopted. This means Kazuya was raised by Heihachi even after he was thrown off the cliff, since he and Lee were raised together. Before the events of the first King of Iron Fist Tournament, Kazuya participated in martial arts tournaments or unofficial fights around the world. In one of these fights Paul Phoenix fought him to a draw. When the first King of Iron Fist Tournament was announced, the 26 year old Kazuya took the opportunity to get back at his father, setting the stage for the first game.
