The Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation is a technique where, using a living person as a vessel, a deceased person’s soul can be called back to the world of the living and bound to it. The vessel will then take on the form that person had in life, thereby reincarnating them to do their summoner’s bidding.
Nagato was a shinobi of Amegakure and descendant of the Uzumaki clan. Forming Akatsuki alongside his friends (and fellow war orphans) Yahiko and Konan, Nagato dreamed of bringing peace to the violent shinobi world. However, following Yahiko’s death, Nagato adopted the alias of Pain and, along with Konan, began leading a new Akatsuki — one that would force the world into peace using any means necessary.
The character will arrive in the game “soon,” and will be the second character in the game’s fourth season pass. The season pass will have a total of five new characters and will focus on the theme of “regeneration.” The first new character in the fourth season pass is Sakura Haruno from the Great Ninja War.
The game’s third season pass includes: Kakashi Hatake (with both eyes Sharingan), Neji Hyūga, Shisui Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki (Last Battle), and Boruto Uzumaki (Karma Form).
Jiren (ジレン Jiren), also known as Jiren The Gray (灰色のジレン Haiiro no Jiren), is the most powerful member of the Pride Troopers. He served as the main fighting antagonist in the Universe Survival Saga and as a major contestant in the Tournament of Power. An extraordinary powerful being, Jiren is considered to be one of the strongest mortals in all of the multiverse, outclassing even the Gods of Destruction. He is a quiet and honorable fighter, who believes in strength and justice. He previously did not trust anyone and never considered teamwork at all during battle, opting to fight enemies alone, and single-handedly almost always winning.
“Jiren is a man who is completely devoted to justice. He never acts on any of his own desires or interests. And no matter how evil a villain he’s up against, his absurd conviction is such that he won’t ever kill them. But there is one thing… He has a wish that he’d even be willing to set aside his convictions to have come true.“ — Belmod to Khai in “The Man Named Jiren“

The Tournament Group reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Rules, provided that any changes are effective immediately and will be made available on the Tournament Website, which each Player hereby agrees to periodically visit and check for any changes, updates, or additions to these Rules. These Rules, including any additional terms or conditions incorporated by reference herein, sets forth the entire understanding and agreement between the Tournament Group and Player with respect to Player’s participation in the Tournament.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT & RULES
Latest Version. The latest version update of the Game will be used for Tournament play, including any new characters and balance updates.
Double Elimination. The Tournament will be played out as a Double Elimination competition. In a “Double Elimination” competition, Players compete in Match Sets and advance starting from the Winner’s side of the Tournament (the “Winner’s Bracket”). If a Player loses a Match Set while on the Winner’s Bracket, that Player will move to the Loser’s side of the Tournament (the “Loser’s Bracket”). If a Player loses a Match Set while on the Loser’s Bracket, thus receiving their second loss, that Player is eliminated and will no longer advance in the Tournament.
Match Sets. All “Match Sets” will be Best-of-Three, except for the Winner’s Finals, Loser’s Finals, and Grand Finals, of which will be Best-of-Five. In a “Best-of-X” the first Player to win the majority of “X” number of Matches is declared the winner of the Match Set, and any Matches that have not been played at that point will not be played. In a Best-of-Three, for example, the first Player to win two (2) Matches will be immediately declared the winner of the Match Set. The winner of a single Match is determined when the Game awards the win to that Player or upon the opponent causing a Match Disruption or other violation of the Rules as determined by the Tournament Group.
Winner Lock Rules. Players must comply with the “Winner Lock Rules” listed for each title in section (n) below
Player Options. Prior to commencement of a Match Set, Players may exercise the following options:
Button Check. Players may request a Button Check where they may use the beginning of the first round of a match to check that buttons on a controller are working and that match connectivity is adequate. After this check, Players must immediately finish the match with one (1) Player holding forward for the remainder of the rounds to quickly return to the lobby and then begin commencement of the official Match Set. If the Tournament Group determines that Players are playing against each other as if it were an official Match during a “Button Check”, that match is subject to be recognized as an official Match instead.
Double K.O. In the event of a tied Match declared by a “Double K.O.” on the Game screen, the Match will not be scored and both Players will replay the tied Match with the same character selections and stage.
Grand Finals. The “Grand Finals” of a Double Elimination competition is a Match Set series comprised of up to two (2) Best-of-Five Match Sets between the final two (2) Players left in the Tournament: the highest advancing Player from the Winner’s Bracket, and the highest advancing Player from the Loser’s Bracket. In the event the Player from the Winner’s Bracket wins the first Best-of-Five Match Set, the Grand Finals immediately ends, giving the Player from the Loser’s Bracket their second loss to be eliminated from the Tournament. The Player from the Winner’s Bracket is then declared the Grand Champion for the Tournament. In the event the Player from the Loser’s Bracket wins the first Best-of-Five Match Set, thereby giving the Player from the Winner’s Bracket their first loss, a second Best-of-Five Match Set will be played (the “Grand Finals Reset”). Players may select new characters and exercise any Player Options for this new Match Set. The Player that wins this final Match Set, thereby giving the other Player their second loss to be eliminated from the Tournament, is declared the Grand Champion.

Pleease? I’m already a criminal, what with all the hacking. Besides, as long as I’m with you, Gentle… I’ll be happy no matter what happens.Manami Aiba to Gentle Criminal in “Unbeknownst”
To carve my name in history, for future generations! So that going forward, someone out there… will give a moment’s thought to the way I lived, and aspire to it. And this dream is no longer mine alone. Today marks my first step towards true infamy. My dream would be trifling indeed if your words could move me to abandon my course! As you are a U.A. student… I assume you can comprehend… my penchant to dream.Danjuro Tobita explaining his goals to Izuku Midoriya in “School Festival Start!!”
Manami is a loyal fan and admirer of Danjuro Tobita, making sure to record his acts to subsequently post them online, following Danjuro’s instructions to interrupt a stream if needed. Despite knowing about his strength and abilities, Manami becomes worried if Danjuro finds himself in potential danger. Manami is in love with Danjuro, as shown through her Quirk, Love, as well as her undying admiration for him. Having been grateful for Danjuro taking her in and accepting her, Manami is willing to help him no matter what. She also showed to be angry with Danjuro’s lack of recognition, as well as angry at the Hero Killer: Stain for having robbed his spotlight with a video of his backstory.
When Manami was a younger girl, she professed her love to a different boy, telling him that she was completely smitten. She seems to fall in love quite freely and when she does, quite deeply. Unfortunately, this also made her sensitive to rejection, as seen by when her crush rejected her letter and even badmouthed her as a stalker. This caused Manami to fall into a deep depression where she became a withdrawn shut-in and even seemed to consider ending her own life. Upon seeing Danjuro’s videos however, her hope and energy were both fully restored, with Manami willing to help and accompany him even with the acts of doing so making her a criminal as well.
Befitting his alias, Danjuro is a polite and well-mannered person, even while committing villainous acts. He manipulates the way he wants his crimes to play out and is not afraid of facing multiple heroes, showing an unusual amount of calmness and confidence. His mannerisms may also seem slightly over-the-top and eccentric. One of his more common theatrics is to pour coffee or tea into a cup while holding the kettle way over his head and spilling it everywhere.
Although he means well and lacks hostility, Danjuro is shown to lack insight behind his decisions and actions. This was first demonstrated when he hindered a Pro Hero saving someone despite having good intentions. Other cases are how his videos cause more discomfort instead of the inspiration he desires, not understanding the consequences he would’ve truly brought to U.A. High School by sneaking into their Culture Festival, and how he was unable to stop speaking to Izuku Midoriya when they first met, which accidentally exposed his identity. This also demonstrates his incapability to voice a sound argument behind his intentions like his conversation with his life counselor in high school, his failed attempt to persuade Izuku to let him sneak into the Culture Festival, and how he was unable to fool Hound Dog when he turned himself over to protect La Brava.
Danjuro has little to no interest in money or objects of value. Instead, he chases after fame and reputation, which he tries to achieve through video recordings of his criminal acts. He claims that his ultimate goal is to write his name in history and inspire others who view his actions, and is obsessed with achieving it, as he fears to fade into obscurity after his death. He is admittedly very selfish and claims to not being afraid of trampling on the dreams of others as long as it furthers his own; however, he does have a soft spot for his fan and crime partner La Brava and is capable of being self-sacrificing for her sake. Even more, upon finally being arrested, it was shown that deep down he still desired to be a hero, weeping with joy to hear someone say he could still turn his life around to reach his original goal.
“I can’t answer, but there is one thing I can say. Tekken 7 has gone on long enough,” said Harada in response.
If we were to take that statement at face value, that certainly sounds like Bandai Namco is moving on from the game though that may not end up being the case after all.
Harada goes on to tell the story about how Tekken 7 was originally planned to only receive two seasons of content. Sales were so strong, however, that they decided to keep asking the company to make more.
“Well, this has been going on for a very long time,” said Harada. “It’s really profitable even after the second year. Considering the development cost, the profit is massive. We recovered all of that development cost in the first two months of sales.”
It’s definitely easy to see that creating characters in an already established game system is way simpler and cheaper to make compared to something brand new, which fighting game and pretty much all developers have shifted towards this past console generation.
The face of Tekken’s dev team doesn’t say whether he’s asked Bandai Namco to make a Season 5 for Tekken 7, but does pretty much imply that he could make it happen if that’s what they want to do.
“If I asked the president if I can make the next one, he definitely couldn’t say ‘no’ to me,” said Harada.
Bandai Namco appears to be gearing up to answer that question in some fashion, as they’ve been teasing a Tekken-related announcement in a series of tweets that points to a reveal coming this weekend.
Starting on Wednesday, May 19, Bandai Namco’s eSports account began posting short clips with the number “3”.
This led some fans to speculate that something like Tekken Tag Tournament 3 may be en route, but it just looks to be a countdown considering they posted another yesterday with the number two.
The most likely outcome of said countdown is that the publisher is planning to reveal the next season of the Tekken World Tour, especially since all of the clips were from previous tournament events.
Judging by the countdown of days, Bandai Namco will probably be making the announcement tomorrow, May 22, evening.

A Golden Wind is set to howl across the Jump Force battlefield when JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure‘s Giorno Giovanna, the progeny of DIO by way of Jonathan Joestar’s body, joins the game’s playable roster this spring. Opponents who come face-to-face with Giorno’s seemingly invincible Gold Experience Requiem Stand are forever reminded that their attacks are simply useless.
Giorno is the fifth and final member of Jump Force “Characters Pass 2,” which also features the currently available Shoto Todoroki, Meruem, and Hiei, and the upcoming Yoruichi. Players who purchase Character Pass 2 for $17.99 will immediately obtain Todoroki, Meruem, and Hiei, as well as gain early access to Yoruichi and Giorno upon release. Each character is also available separately for $3.99.
Giorno is a teenage boy of average height and slim yet muscular build, far smaller in stature than previous JoJos. He has golden hair of moderate length tied back in a short, braided tail, with three distinctive oversized curls arranged in a row over his forehead. His hair was originally black and unkempt but transformed upon awakening his Stand. His eyes, especially present in earlier depictions, sharpen at the ends similar to those of his father’s.
Giorno wears a two-piece suit with a checkered coat tail and several ornate features, including wing-shaped emblems on the collars and a heart-shaped opening in the chest area. The most distinctive feature on his suit are the three ladybug emblems located on either side of his chest and directly below his zipper, matching the appearance of his Stand. Later on, his shoes also have the same ladybug emblem on them. The color scheme for his suit often changes in different depictions, but the most common colors are blue outlined with gold and pink outlined with green.
Giorno’s childhood was filled with unhappiness and loneliness due to bullies and the abuse by his stepfather. During his early childhood, he was initially cold and uncaring towards anyone and believed himself to be scum just for the way people treated him. Those that knew him easily thought he’d grow up to become a twisted individual. This changed when he befriended an injured gangster he saved. As the man protected Giorno from those that did him wrong in return for his aid, he learned that he could trust people. Since then, he has become a more confident and solicitous person.
A defining characteristic of Giorno, and shared among his peers through him, is his resolve (覚悟 kakugo); something that can be described as his ability to make important decisions without hesitation and seeing them through to the very end, even in the face of pain, sorrow, and tragedy. Throughout Part 5, Giorno’s resolve is such that in the heat of battle, he is frequently willing to allow himself to be injured if it leads to an advantageous situation. An ambitious individual, he readily takes any occasion to achieve his final goal of becoming a “Gang-Star”. Upon beginning to cooperate with Passione gangster Bruno Bucciarati, Giorno wastes no time in infiltrating the gang, and steadily works his way up the ranks. His assassination of Polpo was partially a way to get a promotion for Bucciarati. Later, Giorno also tried to personally approach the Boss of Passione, and planned to plant a tracking device on him.
Tekken 7 Season 4 downloadable content character Lidia Sobieska, the previously teased new character from Poland, will launch on March 23 alongside the “Island Paradise” stage, Bandai Namco announced.
It appears that Lidia Sobieska’s default appearance has her appearing dressed in casual fighting attire. Despite being seen wearing business clothes in the sneak peek, Lidia doesn’t normally fight like this.
A scar can be seen on Lidia’s left eye. It’s unknown how she got this scar, but it potentially has something to do with Mishima Zaibatsu as members of the Mishima family are shown to be prominent opponents in her trailer.
The Island Paradise stage will also be releasing on March 23, 2021. We can get a quick look at this stage during the reveal trailer.
The Season 4 Pass can be acquired for $14.99. Players will gain access to Kunmitisu and Lidia as playable characters, as well as the Vermillion Gates and Island Paradise stages.
Sony Interactive Entertainment and new esports venture RTS have jointly acquired the Evolution Championship Series
Sony’s statement said the Cannons will “ensure that Evo remains a one-of-a-kind, grassroots competitive platform for fighting game players and fans around the globe.” None of the parties to the deal revealed the cost of the acquisition, and Sony and Endeavor are likewise silent on their stakes and ownership split in the RTS venture.
Evo Online will take place Aug. 6-8 and Aug. 13-15 as an open format tournament, offering free entry to players in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. The tournament lineup features Tekken 7, Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, and Guilty Gear Strive, which launches in June.
“We want to reaffirm that harassment or abuse of any kind has no place within Evo or any of our future events, and we’re taking every precaution to make sure members of our community will always be treated with the respect, dignity, and decency you deserve,” reads the letter.
Also very important to note. @EVO is still open to all platforms. The teams at PlayStation and RTS are enabling us to continue working with our community to support fighting games. https://t.co/NKMQUSvkfj— Mark Julio (マークマン) (@MarkMan23) March 18, 2021
