DNF Duel DLC Roadmap Revealed – Siliconera

The top-secret experiments carried out in the De Los Empire birthed much sacrifice. The loss of many young boys and girls forced to be experimented on after being separated from their families was especially felt, further accentuated by the failure of the Metastasis experiments.

Many lives were lost, being swept away by leaked Metastasis energy or from experiment facility explosions. The children who managed to survive were eaten by beasts that were Metastasized from Pandemonium, or killed in the hunt by soldiers after escaping by chance.

Even so, some survived. These children were able to hide with the help of the Imperial Knight Captain Crowell, who loathed the wrongdoings of the Empire, and spread out into Arad to start their own lives or while vowing revenge upon the Empire.

Some children trained profusely in Imperial swordsmanship to create their own swordfighting techniques, and fought against the Empire.
Some children made pacts with entities called blade demons to wield demonic swords and walked down the path of vengeance.
Some children suppressed the energies of Metastasis, creating a school of their own kind which practiced the techniques and dual-blade swordsmanship learned during their wandering travels.
And some children became the envoys of the god of death, striving to erase the Empire’s name in shadow.

Among these children was a girl.

This girl saw the paths the others took, but took none for herself.
Whichever way she went, she knew she could not get the revenge she so wanted.
The girl watched till the very last child left.
Then, clasping the broken sword that was the last gift of the benefactor who’d fallen before her very eyes, she vanished silently.

To find her own path.

To find her own revenge.

Lost Warrior revealed for DNF Duel as the game’s boss and final roster member in new trailer

To unlock this interesting and complex character, you just need to complete the Story mode with any of the 15 already playable fighters. This mode consists of nine chapters that tell you the story of the character you chose.

Lore:

An entity that presents hardships to the Adventurer on behalf of Plane: The Gate. His name forgotten due to remaining in a realm where there exists no being to call for him, he wanders about with parts of his memory missing.
On the outside, he looks like a warrior fresh out of battle, with scars decorating the parts of his skin that were not covered in garments.
He uses a single worn blade, and an unfathomable power capable of interfering with space and time flows out from the large void in his abdomen.

Enchantress is here to tug on your heart strings quite literally in her bewitching DNF Duel trailer

In Dungeon Fighter Online, the Enchantress is a subclass of the Female Mage. She’s known for her puppeteer skills and fighting with dolls. This trait returns for DNF Duel, as the Enchantress introduction even shows her carrying the bunny doll Happy and summoning Madd. Once the fight begins, she attacks by swinging a broom, casting spells, and using Happy and Madd to attack alongside her.

Bedecked in Gothic-Lolita fashions and wearing an equally heavy look of mischief, Enchantress might be the smallest and youngest competitor to enter the DNF Duel ring, but what she lacks in size she makes up for in frightening black magic abilities. An expert in the ways of voodoo and the dark arts, Enchantress is able to conjure up projectiles and other weaponry twice her size, while also holding her own in CQC thanks to her super cute broomstick.

For the first open beta test, the available characters that could be used were the Inquisitor, Vanguard, Grappler, Berserker, Striker, Hitman, Ranger, Dragon Knight, Kunoichi, and the Crusader.

As of right now, no information about the roster for the second open beta has been revealed. We’ll probably get a larger selection of characters during this second period.

Through the ages, Empyrean women have played an important role in the field of mechanics. In fact, three of the seven Machinists were female. Female Mechanics have developed a technology unique from—and more practical than—that of their male counterparts.

Mechanical engineering involves a lot of handiwork, and the families that have produced famous Mechanics usually own their own crafting technology. Among them are the Curios; descended from a member of the Seven Meisters, the Kitzkas that have produced many great female Gunners including Mechanics, and the Richters; well-known for their strict training and unique technology. Since most women in Empyrean are better with their hands than men, these families are predominantly known for their female members. Empyrean’s greatest research group and facility, Seven Shards, also includes several female Mechanics.

DNF DUEL will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on June 28, publisher Nexon and developers Neople, Arc System Works, and Eighting announced.
