This is Piccolo’s first “proper” transformation, due to the Namekian lacking any hair change to denote the transformation he was made muscular and orange. The mark on the back of his gi represents a symbol of Namekian pride, consisting of a symbolic Ajisa tree in the middle that soon materializes into an orb shape, connecting via a line to an outer circle that represents Shenron.
A Twitter user has shared the first screenshots of orange Piccolo in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Orange Piccolo will be part of Hero of Justice Pack DLC 2, which is set to include a total of 3 playable characters, 4 parallel quests, 7 new moves, 4 costumes and accessories, and 5 Super Souls that are used to grant bonus multipliers. The aforementioned Hero of Justice Pack almost entirely revolves around Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero content that will help fans of the movie continue to celebrate the many memorable moments like the birth of orange Piccolo.
Previously penciled in for sometime this fall, a date has been locked in for the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC that crosses over with hit anime film Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO. Gamma 1, Gamma 2 and Gohan will be playable along with new quests, skills, costumes, accessories and more in Hero of Justice Pack 1, which launches on November 10.
Ahead of that, a free update is on the way on November 9, complete with two new costumes and accessories, five Dual Ultimate attacks, three Super Souls, two Raid Quests, 64 Hero Colosseum figures and 61 loading screen illustrations.
Coming this fall, get ready to blast off into the world of Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO with the new “Hero of Justice” Pack Set in #DBXV2.
Joining Gamma 2 in DLC Pack 1, comes the powerful Gamma 1 AND Gohan (DBS Super Hero)!
The “Hero of Justice Pack” will be followed by Pack 2, which is expected to release in the fall of 2022. Besides that, it is safe to assume that more characters from the movie, such as Vegeta, Trunks, or Dr. Hero, could appear in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 through the second DLC set.
The announcement was made through a short trailer that featured the Gammas fighting Piccolo in an intense battle. As seen in the trailer, Gamma 1 excels at long-range attacks rather than martial arts, in contrast to Gohan Ultimate. He is, however, skilled in close combat, employing serial attacks to prevent Piccolo from creating combos. The trailer also showcases Gohan rushing to Piccolo’s aid as his friend is about to lose the battle. As Dragon Ball fans might expect, these four characters will square off against each other as part of the DLC.
“That was an underwhelming performance… I was expecting a lot more out of you.“ — Gamma 2 in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero
Bandai Namco and Dimps’ game has been going strong since it launched nearly six years ago, and now two new sets of DLC are on the way to celebrate the latest film in the series.
The game’s third DLC “Extra Pack” launched in August 2018, and the fourth DLC “Extra Pack” featuring the characters “Super Saiyan Full Power Broly” and SSGSS Gogeta launched in December 2018. The game added the DLC characters Ribrianne and Super Saiyan God Vegeta as part of “Ultra Pack 1” in June 2019.
DLC Pack 1 will include Gamma 2 and two other unannounced characters. DLC Pack 2 will include three unannounced characters.
The “Legendary Pack 2” DLCincludes Jiren (Full Power), Gogeta (from Dragon Ball Super: Broly), Kale (Super Saiyan 2), and Caulifla (Super Saiyan 2). The “Legendary Pack 1” features the DLC characters Pikkon and Toppo.
Gamma 2 truly believes himself to be a superhero, despite being affiliated with the Red Ribbon Army, and much like other superhero-esque squads, has a habit of posing in and out of battle. He appears to be more relaxed and jovial than Gamma 1, and is well-acquainted with the Red Ribbon Army’s workers. He also appears to be a bit morbid, having wished he could see the look on what he presumed was a dead Piccolo’s face after their first fight. He has a positive connection with his creator Dr. Hedo, as well as his fellow Gamma (who he finds too uptight while #1 in turn finds him too lax).
Despite his straightforward ideals, he is prone to being manipulated by proxy as he repeatedly refused to believe that he and his creator were being led on by Magenta. It was only until he witnessed Carmine shooting at Pan that he realized the Red Ribbon Army were the true villains all along. Gamma 2 is more than willing to put his life on the line to both protect his creator and defeat the forces of evil.
As a result of our continuous testing to include the rollback system, it has been confirmed that the implementation can be applied to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and we have officially been working on its production.
The PlayStation 4 version will be compatible with the upgrade program while the Xbox One version will be compatible with Smart Delivery.
We also expect the PC version to be updated so that users can choose either delay or the rollback netcode system. (*The recommended specs for the rollback system are expected to be higher than the current ones.)
It will take some time until the system is implemented, but we sincerely hope you will enjoy it as soon as possible.
More information will be released at a later date. Please wait for further details.
Appreciate your continued support of Dragon Ball FighterZ.
“With the latest update, which just released a few weeks ago, we believe that Dragon Ball FighterZ has been tuned to to its finest,” said Hiroki through a translator. “We do not have any future plans for new characters or additional balance adjustments,” said Hiroki.
“We have decided to implement rollback netcode to Dragon Ball FighterZ,” she said. “The feature will be implemented to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X and PC versions. For players who already have the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, we do plan to provide you with upgrade paths, through an upgrade program,” Hiroki concluded.
Hailing from the ranks of Universe 11’s heroic Pride Troopers, the supersonic warrior Dyspo is coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2! When it comes to speed, no other warrior can hold a candle to Dyspo—even light itself gets left in the dust!
And since he’ll be joining the game as a playable character, all that speed is yours to harness!! Close the distance between you and your enemies in the blink of an eye and unleash Dyspo’s wide array of attacks before they know what hit them! His Awoken Skill “Supersonic Mode” further increases his movement speed and buffs certain attacks at the cost of constantly draining Ki, so knowing when and where to use it will be the key to victory with this character!
Bandai Namco has revealed on the official Dragon Ball video game website that Dyspo will be included in the new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC pack “Awakening Warrior Edition Pack.” Fans may remember Dyspo first appearing in the Dragon Ball Super anime not too long ago.
Dyspo was a part of the Pride Troopers from Universe 11 that also included Jiren and Toppo. Jiren and Toppo have already been added to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, so now the team is almost complete with the addition of Dyspo to the game’s roster. Dyspo will be a part of the game’s Awakened Warrior Pack DLC out later this year. The DLC will also feature the fan voted ‘Goku (Ultra Instinct -Sign-)’. Dyspo will have some of his iconic moves in the game including the Justice Kick, Circle Flash, and much more.
Dyspo will also have a special technique that will be able to increase his speed and make him much stronger than in his base form. Alongside the new DLC, a free update is also due to be out for the game later this year.
